MY REFLECTION
Basic Concepts of Assessment, Measurement and
Evaluation
Reflection
of Performance Task no. 1
The
performance task no. 1 Basic Concepts of Assessment, Measurement and Evaluation
is serves as my foundation learning in assessment. In which I deeply believe
that without a strong foundation there is no firm structure.
I
appreciate this first performance task because aside that it is simple and not
mind burdened it help me to go through acquainting more about these
terminologies. The test, assessment, measurement and evaluation are
interdependent with each other meaning they are inter-reliant or mutually
supporting, other rely on the result of the other. In other words, without the
presence of one, the totality will be affected and cannot be achieved its
means. Besides, I found these as the most important and integral part of
learning because the routine of the teacher will be similar to this.
And
now I understand that teachers are encouraging students not to cheat. Therefore,
let’s engage ourselves to this because in the field our life will be a cycle of
this. Thus, assessment is the most important part of the teacher, it is not
only a work or obligation of a teacher but it is an advocacy because through
proper and accurate assessment we can able to produce a great generation.
